Read his story and get to know him:
“I started my journey first with weight loss surgery, at 363 pounds. With the surgery procedure, I lost 120 pounds. Before joining, I always felt tired and lethargic and I used to smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day. Even with the weight loss surgery that I had done, I was still feeling tired and run down and lethargic. I still felt fat and out of shape. The surgery didn’t make me fit. It didn’t strengthen, condition or tone my body. I wasn’t healthy; I just lost a lot of weight. What little food I could eat as a result of the procedure, I was still eating horribly. The junk I was putting in my body didn’t help me recuperate at all. It wasn’t helping my body heal.
I came here to get in shape. Instead of just to lose weight and weigh less, I wanted to be fit. Coming here has made me feel a whole lot better. It has given me more confidence, energy and drive. My family is the reason why I continue to come. So I can be healthy for them and watch my kids grow up. I do this so I can be a good influence in their lives, so they can see the fit me instead of the fat me.
Now we go and do activities together. We go hiking, and even one of my daughters Emily, comes here to Next Level Fitness and works out with me sometimes.
I was surprised at how receptive my body was to healing, since coming to Next Level Fitness. I have much more energy now. I thought that my body was too far-gone. I thought that my body would never come back, would never heal, and that I would never be better. I just thought that I was going to be fat and out of shape for the rest of my life. I was surprised that my body could actually mend itself and get better. To anybody who even just thinks a little bit about coming into Next Level Fitness, should absolutely do it. You have to do it. It just makes life that much easier.
I’ve never done anything like this in my life. I’ve never been able to run this far, I’ve never been able to do this many pushups. I’ve never been fit my whole life; I’ve always been fat my whole life. This is the fittest I’ve ever been. It’s a completely different lifestyle change for me.” –Brian Schell
